EBSB Private Lesson Scholarship

Sometimes, no matter how much you practice on your own at home, you just can't seem to work out the tricky fingering, or the octave change, or the rhythm problem. A teacher can make all the difference, but not every budget can afford it. The EBSB Private Lesson Scholarship is eligible to those with the following qualifications:

• a member in good standing

• not currently taking private lessons

• must commit to one full month's worth of lessons (minimum 4 sessions)

Economic need will be prioritized, based on submission of a waiver for band dues. The student must find a teacher within 30 days of being awarded the scholarship, & submit that teacher's name to the EBSB board so that the teacher can be paid directly.
